On our baptism we have been commissioned officers in the Church Militant. This by receiving the three offices of Christ: Priest, Prophet, King. Priest: to pray and make sacrifices for others; Prophet: to be ‘truth speakers’, even if the truth is something the world does not want to hear; King: to lead by example.

Thank you for sharing. I do have one question, since you have spoken of Chrism. Is there a saint associated with Chrism? Twice my family member(s) have suddenly smelled Chrism coming out of nowhere for either minutes or seconds. The first was at confession. The latter was at end of Mass when leaving the parish. I have heard of Saint Bernardine of Siena…
