GOD BLESS YOU, Father! I couldn't agree more. Our world is falling apart at the most elemental level because Satan's lie of relativism and the absolute rejection of objective reality has deceived modern man. People actually believe that they define reality and think they can define the terms of everything in existence, even religion itself. May the Mercy of God flood these hearts with the clarity and beauty of Truth so they might be free to love, serve and worship God.

I agree, but I think what happens is many people substitute religious custom for a real relationship with God. This is why there are many cradle Catholics who are really no different from their secular counterparts in actions, political views and behaviour; even though they go to church and recieve the sacraments. The thing that causes people to disavow religion is when they see Catholics live their lives unchanged by the traditions they participate in. The key is to combine the beauty and power of our Catholic traditions with a living and dynamic faith.
